Abstract
Many consider acupuncture as unscientific. It works, and more and more it is being used in Western medical practice. The experience of the author with his first 177 patients over a s-year period is described. Poor results were obtained with obesity and the cessation of smoking. Excellent results were obtained with Herpes Zoster and acute muscle and ligamentous injuries, acute and chronic muscle spasm and hay fever.
