Abstract

Die belangrike kliniese tekens van akute asma word bespreek. Insiggewende inligting in verband met die waarde van eenvoudige kliniese waarnemings soos byvoorbeeld die graad van pulsus paradoxus word verduidelik en die betekenisvolle gebruik van spesiale ondersoeke word uiteengesit. Noodbehandeling geniet dan aandag op'n redelikdidaktiese maar gebalanseerde manier.
