Abstract
This article is an edited transcript by Prof G.S. Fehrsen of his interview with Dr. M.r. Church, lecturer in the Nutrition Department of the School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine of the University of London. He grew up in East Africa and returned after training to work in Uganda in the Department of Child Health at the Makerere University College. He was at the Nutrition Rehabilitation unit there.
