An approach to prescribing in Family Pratice
Abstract
"The art is getting longer and longer, the brain of the student not bigger and bigger". Hippocratic aphorism, about 4OO B.C. Hippocrates could not have put more aptly the plight of physicians today, in their struggle to prescribe rationally. The past few decades have witnessed an astronomical increase in the number and range of pharmacological agents on the market and medical science continues to undergo an information explosion.
