Abstract
The condition and situations nationally and locally at the time of establishment of this Program are given and the author's reasons for going into directorship. Goals of the Program: 10 to teach the practice of medicine 20 to establish a pattern of family life for the residency in the future, and 30 to establish patterns of learning for the residency in the future. Methods and techniques used to achieve these goals are described and the degree of success in the reaching these goals is noted.
