Abstract
A survey amoungst country practitioners in Natal done in 1981 is reported on. The doctors were mostly between 30 and 50 years of age, a large number had moved to country practice since 1975 and were in solus practice. The joys, challenges and problems of country practice are also discussed, giving ideas of hows in its scope.
