Abstract
The National General Practitioners' Group, on request of MASA, sent out a questionnaire to all active practising general practitioners to obtain information on practice structure and gains position The results are discussed and conclusions drawn" A memorandum was compiled to request MASA to revise the unit allocation for consultations from 6 to 10. The motivation is discussed in detail including the 2/3 anomaly, change in practice structure and calculations for a reasonable nett income with quantification of a possible increase.
