Abstract
All patients presenting at the Emergency Unit at Ga Rankuwa Hospital over a period of one year with a history of self-injury or self-poisoning were studied. Daily and, monthly variations &re given, age and sex distribution as well as methods used and reasons given for the suicide attempts &re shown and, discussed.
