From Theory to Practise
Abstract
This is the month of the 6th GP Congress and the Congress issue of SA Family Practice. We will be hearing about dilemmas and new advances in medicine. Hearing is seldom enough to influence future practise. We need to try out ideas in discussion, learn experientially in workshops or even have a practise-run at something before we are really able to apply new concepts or procedures in our own practice. We are therefore glad to see so many practical workshops on the programme.
