Abstract
The author recognize that n patient is not only ill but has, at the same time, very powerful healing processes at work - and the true doctor should stimulate his patients natural healing capacity instead of only treating the symptoms. He sees his patient as one "system) where nothing can happen to the body without an influence on the mind, and vice versa. This holistic approach gives a new direction and perspective in understanding disease.
