Abstract
There is a challenge to every GP to actively detect the many underdiagnosed and undertreated ashmatics in our country, to destroy the many harmful myths which will still exist in the community and to make use of the tremendous scientific advancement in the understanding and management of ashtma. This will help their ashtmatic patients to enjoy a lifestyle both at work and at play, which is no different from the non-ashtmatic.
