Some Common Paediatric Emergencies for the General Practitioner

Abstract
Acute, life-threatening conditions are not too frequent in general practice, but the GP does need to develop the ability to handle them effectively as it can mean the difference between survival and death. These skills are required of graduated from medical schools - a list of their 5 objectives is given. The author dealt mainly with abrupt onset of severe problems in children, referable to 3 main system: respiratory, central nervous, and gastro-intestinal tract.
