Higher Professional Education Courses in the United Kingdom

Abstract

Occasional Paper 51 Higher professional training is one of the newest developments in general practice education. Opportunities for members of the largest branch of the profession to pursue higher learning after completing vocational training have always been limited and this Occasional Paper describes a nation-wide survey of courses in higher professional training that have been developed by a number of different centres, including university departments of general practice and a College Faculty.
