Abstract
Atopic Dermatitus or Infantile Eczema is one of the most common relapsing skin disorders of childhood and one of the most difficult to treat. Despite an ever increasing incidence, the exact aetiology and diagnostic features of Atopic Dermatitis remain unclear. The dry hyper-irritable skin and the misery associated with this condition, disrupts the life of both the affected child and this or her family, Treatment is aimed at controlling the symptoms until natural resolution occurs.
