Abstract
This paper focuses on research relating to sexuality in diabetic women - a field which mainly concentrated on men. There seems to be only minor differences between diabetic and non-diabetic women in the field of sexuality, which is not the case with men. Noteworthy is that women complain about the subjective quality of their sexual relationship where as men are concerned about the mechanistic aspects such as ejaculation or erection.
