Helping Victims of Incest: A Challenge to Family Practice

Abstract
Patient-centredness, building a therapeutic relationship and continuity of care - these important dimensions of the family practice - enable victims of incest to disclose their 'secret'. An account of two disclosures is presented and the implications for family practice discussed.
