Abstract
Benchmarks for Busy GPs Prevention is supposed to be everybody's business, but often it is nobody's. Doctors are too busy with the lengthening queues of patients demanding curative services. The government is short of money and the people who are living in the shadow of recession and unemployment are more interested in short term issues and are often unimpressed with events that may never occur in the future.
