Shaping the Future of General Practce/Family Medicine

Abstract

A workshop attended by the leadership of general practice was held at the UCT Medical School in Cape Town on 7 March 1998. This was very successful in that it managed to put issues of general practice to the fore and participants focused on how best general practitioners can be represented. The following input is a discussion paper that aims to expand on those views and suggest a way forward.
