Mounting evidence for Angtotensin Receptor Blockcrs in clinical medicine
Abstract
The Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosteron System (RAAS) participates in the pathophysiology of systemic hyper-tension, heart failure and diabetic nephropathy. Moreover, excessive activation of the RAAS may increase the risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Therefore, blocking this system (RAAS) maybe expected to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
