SA FAMILY PRACTICE MANAGEMENT: Five Strategies for a More Vital Practice
Abstract
Frustrated with the status quo? Here's how to take your practice from so-so to stellar. Why are some practices characterized by physician dissatisfaction, high employee turnover and disorganization while other practices thrive? What makes the difference between the successful practice and one that just gets by? And how can your practice be the former and not the latter? The most successful practices I've observed during my career as a practice administrator and consultant have some striking similarities. They all adhere to the five basic business strategies outlined in this article. Your practice should too. (Reprinted from: Family Practice Management 2004;11(1):31-36.
