Migraine: Diagnosis and current management options
Abstract
Half of the population experience headaches at least once a month, 15% once a week and 5%o of patients have headaches every day of their lives. The lifetime prevalence of migraine is approximately l9Yo for women and 6% for men, thus accounting for a large proportion of patients suffering from headache.
