Integrative Approach to Management of Heart Disease: Is Heart Disease Reversible?
Keywords:
supporting health
Abstract
Patients with heart disease are generally offered drugs or surgery either by their family practitioner or cardiologist. In general life style change is paid only lip service by practitioners and most are even unaware that good scientific studies have shown that narrowing of the coronary blood vessels can be reversed by diet , exercise and stress management. Family practitioners should be aware of these studies and make their patients aware of the great benefits of supporting health instead of symptomatic approaches only .
